PQM showcased at Global Packaging Summit
UBM Canon, a leading B-to-B event producer, held its 4th annual Global Food & Beverage Packaging Summit in Chicago, Illinois, on July 7th and 8th.
Scott Gilbert and Socrates Rettos were on hand to participate in this world-class packaging conference that gathered key players from leading CPG companies (i.e. Kraft, Nestle, Campbell Soup, Pepsi, Wrigley) to share ideas and learn about competitive and cost-effective innovations and solutions to drive packaging forward. The conference featured 30 sessions, over 50 presenters and an interactive, tabletop exhibit area where we showcased our Print Quality Management (PQM) services to conference attendees. Other booth exhibitors included ESKO, 3M and Optima.
The event’s dual track, educational program highlighted key marketing/branding strategies as well as production/engineering technical intelligence focused on packaging innovations and solutions for tomorrow’s consumer.
Our team gathered insights around a number of leading packaging topics including integrated scanable technologies, food safety compliance and upcoming Nutritional Facts changes.
The team is looking forward to participating in next year’s session, which returns to Chicago on July 12-13, 2016.
