Exploring the World of Digital Print
On June 6–7 in Atlanta, our Phototype team participated in the Digital Print for Packaging conference for the second year in a row. This year’s conference agenda featured a pre-conference tour at the HP Graphics Experience Center, three panel debates, and more than 25 presentations covering virtually every angle of this exciting, growing side of our industry.
Phototype’s Director of Innovation and Commercialization, Scott Gilbert, participated in a panel discussion on the New Packaging Value Chain and co-presented “Guiding CPGs and Printers into the New Digital Frontier” with V.P. of Creative Services, Chuck Rovito. With the topic of digital print for packaging heating up, attendance at this year’s conference almost doubled from last year’s, and Phototype attendees had the opportunity to network and engage with many other leading industry professionals.
Additionally, there were discussions on the future of digital print, design for digital print, personalization and customization, and the leveraging of digital print for printing and packaging companies.
“We are proud to be on the forefront of this emerging trend, and we look forward to assisting CPG manufacturers who are considering digital print opportunities for their brands. It’s a very exciting time,” added Mike Medina, Director of Marketing for Phototype.
